Featuring international top burlesque stars, The American Burlesque is a historical moment born in Japan! After the successful nationwide tour in the spring of 2024, The American Burlesque is back!!

Having 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐋’𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐫 (from the US) and 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐲 (from Canada) as headliners, this is a dream collaboration for two nights only, showcasing an all-star lineup of Japan’s leading burlesque performers!! On top of that, the MC of the night is the rising comedy star, 𝐘𝐮𝐫𝐢é 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐬!!

San Diego-born, Tokyo-based Arden is a writer and editor with a master’s in International Relations from Waseda University. With a background in sociology, East Asian history and journalism, she brings a thoughtful, cross-cultural lens to her work. As a senior editor at Metropolis Magazine, Arden works across print, digital and social media platforms, covering everything from cultural deep-dives to international affairs.
