Tokyo alternative drag collective Haus von Schwarz presents the 21st edition of its Casket of Horrors show on Oct 16 at Shinjuku Heist in Kabukicho.
Billed as a “666th anniversary” edition, this installment has an outer space theme and features drag kings and queens, burlesque performers, live musicians and performance artists.
Casket of Horrors started as an outlet for experimental performance and has since become a regular showcase for alternative artists in Tokyo, known for its dark, theatrical style. This edition includes returning performers and newcomers, with special guest appearances and several debut acts.
