What to Expect From Eric Martin in Tokyo
The program commemorates the 40th anniversary of his solo debut. It also marks the first time he has appeared with a full symphonic ensemble. The title borrows the Japanese word kizuna (the bonds between people).
Songs come from across his career, including solo material, Mr. Big, TMG and the “Mr. Vocalist” series of Japanese pop covers. In addition, a rock band joins the strings, and pianist Kayoko Naoe wrote the arrangements.
