Future Frequencies Festival 2026

Jul 11, 2026 at 3:30pm ~ Jul 12, 2026 at 11:00pm

Future Frequencies Festival 2026 is a two-day international music event taking place at MoN Takanawa on July 11 and 12, organized by media artist Daito Manabe and label Beatink.

Day 1 — July 11

Joy Orbison headlines. The London-based DJ and producer has been one of UK dance music’s most consistent figures since his 2009 breakthrough “Hyph Mngo,” and recent collaborations with Fred Again and Lil Yachty pushed him further into the mainstream.

The Sabres of Paradise, the legendary project formed by the late Andrew Weatherall in 1992, reunited last year after 30 years of silence make their return.

The day starts with a live audiovisual performance from Nosaj Thing and Daito Manabe, whose collaboration dates back to 2012 and has been praised by Pitchfork for its real-time 3D scanning and motion capture work.

Day 2 — July 12

KNOWER headline. Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi formed the Los Angeles-based duo in 2009, and in the years since they’ve built a devoted following by mixing together sounds of jazz, funk, pop and electronic music bringing it all to life.

Kassa Overall follows, bringing his Grammy-nominated approach to jazz and hip-hop. His latest record “CREAM” on Warp Records has been one of the more talked-about releases of the past year.

Closing out the lineup is Hakushi Hasegawa, the first Japanese musician signed to Flying Lotus’s Brainfeeder label. Hakushi’s experimental musicality deeply engages intellectual curiosity, but is also directly connected to the physicality of pop music.
