Glad We Came Exbition by Yamaura Nodoka

Yamaura Nodoka lives in the Shikoku area and works with the traditional medium of washi paper and dye. Her art is very much inspired by and drawn from the nature around her. From June 27 – July 24, her art will be displayed at UltraSuperNew KURA Gallery.

Standing in my garden throughout the day, gazing at the shifting scenery, there are moments when I feel deeply, “I’m glad to be here.” In this exhibition, guided by the changing light, sounds, and colors gathered from the garden, I trace the subtle discoveries that quietly emerge within everyday life.
