MIO KASAI “What can colors do to your life”

Jul 03, 2026 at 6:00pm ~ Jul 05, 2026 at 7:00pm

Mio Kasai’s exhibition “What can colors do to your life” invites viewers into a poetic and introspective universe where color becomes a gateway to emotion, perception and self-reflection.

At the center of the exhibition is the artist’s ongoing “Life Line” series—minimalist works projecting life and existence onto a simple line with a beginning and an end. Rather than depicting the human body itself, Kasai explores the invisible inner self: emotions, thoughts, memories, and transformations that continuously evolve through human experience.

Through subtle compositions and layered colors, the artist encourages viewers to reconsider the way they perceive themselves and the world around them. Her work reflects on the complexity of contemporary life and questions what truly matters in an era often dominated by material concerns and social conflict.
