Special Exhibition: Kneading Clay for 10,000 Years: The Archaeology of Clay Products

Jul 11, 2026 at 9:00am ~ Aug 30, 2026 at 4:30pm

Kneading clay to shape it and firing it to create tools is a practice that has continued for over 10,000 years. Through various clay products shaped like people, animals, and objects, we explore how people of that time viewed and expressed the things around them.

The exhibition is structured in a way that is easy to understand visually and is enjoyable for a wide range of audiences.

Visitors can view the exhibition while chatting, making it perfect for young children’s “museum debut” or for school projects.
