Mirai no Mori Charity Run

Walkers and runners of all ages head to the Tama River on Saturday, November 7, to raise funds for young people living in care homes across Japan.
Organized by Mirai no Mori (Forest of the Future), a nonprofit running outdoor and leadership programs for children in care, the annual run offers three distances to suit any pace, from a casual weekend stroll to a half marathon. Program participants and graduates join in on the day, and last year’s event raised more than one million.
