SF Flea Market 8: Handmade Creator Market in Kawasaki

Sep 12, 2026 at 12:00pm ~ Sep 12, 2026 at 5:00pm

Handmade fantasy art, electronic toys and experimental crafts fill Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall on Sep. 12.

SF Flea Market 8 returns to Kawasaki on Sep. 12, 2026, bringing together 100 individual creators. The indoor market runs from 12pm to 5pm at Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall. Admission is ¥500, while high school students and younger enter free.

What Is SF Flea Market 8?

“SF” here stands for sukoshi fushigi [a little bit mysterious], rather than conventional science fiction. The concept gives creators room to present work that feels strange, inventive or difficult to categorize.

SF Flea Market 8 spans handmade goods, gothic and fantasy art, experimental electronics and playful craft. The selection goes well beyond a standard flea market.

What to Find at SF Flea Market 8

Highlights include luminous electronic toys made by working robot engineers and miniature bottles with fantasy-inspired details. Other creators bring antique-style accessories, cyber jewelry and objects made from natural materials.

Some pieces lean further into the market’s playful side. Look for yarn weapons with zero attack power and other experimental handmade objects.

The creator-led format also gives shoppers a chance to speak directly with the people behind each piece. Ask about materials, prototypes and the ideas that shaped their work.

SF Flea Market 8 Tickets and Advance Bonus

General admission costs ¥500, with both advance and same-day tickets available. Re-entry is permitted, and high school students and younger enter free.

Advance tickets include access to a limited event bonus. The prize combines an original SF Flea Market charm with a palm-sized maze in 1 of 6 random designs.

Bonuses are distributed first-come, first-served at event check-in. Distribution depends on arrival order, not the order tickets were purchased.

Same-day admission can be paid by cash or PayPay.
