Calling all fashion enthusiasts and Tokyo creatives to Tokyo Creative Salon 2024.

One of Japan’s largest fashion and design festivals, Tokyo Creative Salon will run from March 14 to March 24. Creative events with the theme of co-creation and sustainability will occur simultaneously throughout the city. The locations include Marunouchi, Nihonbashi, Ginza, Yurakucho, Akasaka, Roppongi, Shibuya, Harajuku, Shinjuku and Haneda.

TCS aims to educate visitors on the future of design and fashion with sustainability in mind. The opening event will feature a fashion show by designer MIKIOSAKABE. Bring your used clothing for a chance at winning sample pieces from brands and personal items by designers.

The New Vintage Workshop is another must-visit event. They will use secondhand clothing from collection boxes in Japan to create new pieces. Popular artists and designers will collaborate to give new life to used clothing.

This event is held annually in the spring season when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Through co-creation and cross-boundary cooperation among businesses, government, industry and community organizations Tokyo Creative Salon aims to create Tokyo into of the world’s leading fashion and design cities.

Enjoy a creative experience in beautiful Tokyo under the cherry blossoms.
