One of this country’s foremost ceramic artists is currently the subject of an intriguing show at the intimate Musée Tomo. Born to a line of potters in the western Japanese city of Okayama—the center of earthy bizen ceramics—Yuho Kaneshige won the prestigious Japan Ceramic Society Award in 2003. “Yuho Kaneshige: Emerging Forms” presents the results of the artist and artisan’s last decade’s efforts, ranging from some of the more traditional bowls and flower vases on to sculptural creations.

Musée Tomo, until Mar 31 (listing).
