With artists connected to the city of Tokyo, let’s bring color and inspiration to the everyday lives of all those living in the city.
This is the concept of “City Connection,” an urban music project presented by the New York brand Manhattan Portage.
Launched in 2019 with a kickoff event at UNIT in Daikanyama, this project has continued delivering amazing music across various venues until now.
This year, it will be held on July 6 at WOMBLIVE, with all 3 floors of the venue opening to create a full-scale indoor festival experience.
The 1st lineup features a diverse and vibrant selection of artists :
tofubeats: a prolific producer who has become an undeniable force in the scene
chelmico: a duo known for their free-spirited and relatable music
Furui Riho: a rapidly rising singer-songwriter currently riding a wave of momentum with her Zepp tour
BIG-8: a trackmaker drawing attention for his dynamic beat live performances
Puni Puni Denki: a singer-songwriter with distinctive and charming vocals
maco marets: a rapper and poet from Fukuoka who successfully toured overseas last year
Yabe Yuna: a genre-defying artist leading the next generation with her distinctive sensibility
DJ KRO & Cecum: DJs whose mixes have earned them over 110,000 YouTube subscribers
The full lineup will be announced soon, so stay tuned for more talented artists.
Exclusive limited in-store discount ADV tickets will go on sale at the Manhattan Portage TOKYO store starting from Mon, Apr 21, and general ADV tickets will be available at e+ on a first-come, first-served basis at the same time.
