Modern Electro / Techno heads Reptant & Andy Garvey coming to Tokyo

A party, focusing on Australian dance music, GOLDEN – GOURYUDEN – by GOLDENTIME coming back on November 2nd, 2023. GOLDEN brought one of the world’s most important artists Kia(Animalia) to Tokyo for dropping a new generation of sound into the city last time.

We welcome Reptant and Andy Garvey who are known as leaders of the modern electro / techno scene in Australia and around the world.

Reptant, who will perform a live set, has appeared on Dekmantel Selectors 2023 and Säule, released on well-known labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult and Warning, and is always making noise in the scene with his new electro, techno, and IDM hybrid sound. The other headliner will be Sydney’s own Andy Garvey, one of the pioneers of the Australian sound, who also organizes Pure Space, which releases many of Australia’s upcoming artists, and who will perform at the world’s most prestigious Berghain in September 2023. Melbourne’s Genki Tanaka, who has been working to connect the Japanese and Australian music scenes, will also join the lineup at MAIN FLOOR. We are promising to deliver the real Australian sound of these three artists.

VIP FLOOR features Moodman, who sublimated the music of the Japanese underground scene into a genre and continues to lead the scene to this day. Eita Godo, has been supporting the local scene from inside and out by organizing monthly shows at Aoyama Tunnel and Sunset The MARINA, and Celter x Lily from Ella Records which is highly regarded by record collectors in Japan, playing B2B.

WOMB LOUNGE has “Play Of Color” the label Amps, MINT(JPN) and Yuta Yamada, who are leading the Tech House/Deep Tech scene in Japan with many tracks supported by international artists, will hold the launch party of their label. The Deep Tech-savvy tuzuRa and BNN WKND, who have released many songs on international labels and whose “Tech Me Groove” event at Enter has been well received, will perform.

We strongly hope that this party will connect the music scenes between Japan and Australia, and that it will provide an opportunity for music-loving Japanese people to get to know Australia’s talented artists.
