Hiromart Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the gallery’s annual group show entitled, Winter Show. This show brings the most exciting contemporary artists in all media into the Tokyo art scene through curated solo shows and selected group shows featuring artists Andy Brown, Robin Fry, Frank Spidale.

Andy Brown grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of educators. In 2005, he completed his B.A. with Honors in painting at Towson University. He completed his M.F.A. in painting and drawing in 2013, receiving the Dean’s Medal for academic excellence. After 2 years living in Tokyo during the pandemic, he is now back in the States lives in Kentucky. He has exhibited nationally and internationally in group and solo exhibitions.

Robin Fry has been developing his abstract figurative painting practice for over two decades. He studied art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Born in Halifax he has lived and worked in Vancouver, Toronto and Berlin. Informed by modernist painting and graphic art he is continuously exploring technique and experimenting with material while delving into the subconscious. His works are exhibited both internationally and locally at various galleries through solo, two person, and group exhibitions since 1999.

Frank Spidale is an American artist living and working in the Chicago area. He received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and his MFA from American University D.C. He has had solo exhibitions, and has also been exhibited in a variety of group shows held both domestic and international. He was included in the 100 artists to watch in Modern Painters in 2012.
