A seated matcha ceremony and Japanese wine tasting combine in an intimate cultural event

Japan’s wine industry continues to attract international attention, with domestic producers appearing at global wine competitions and events. At Three Grapes Tokyo Salon, guests can explore Japanese wine through a guided tasting experience with matcha.

The Matcha and Wine event features three carefully selected Japanese wines. In addition, guests take part in a live seated tea ceremony and create their own matcha. The session introduces the techniques behind both drinks in a relaxed group setting.

During the experience, participants learn about flavors, preparation methods, and presentation. Meanwhile, hosts explain the connection between Japanese beverages and careful craftsmanship.

The event takes place at Three Grapes Tokyo Salon and welcomes visitors, expats, and locals. Guests can ask questions, share impressions, and discover new flavors throughout the session.

For those interested in Japanese wine and tea culture, this experience offers a different way to explore both. Instead of a standard tasting, guests take part in the preparation process and enjoy a more interactive event.
