Born in Rome and based in Kawasaki, Japan, artist and designer Shuhei Tominaga presents two parallel bodies of work. In Kobo 1, new works from “Na’ Bona Sensabilità,” an abstract painting series built on the pure beauty of line, plane and color. In Kobo 2 + Staircase, “Who is that Hat?” — a character-driven series featuring the Triangular Hat — adds new pieces to the works shown at a national art museum in Xiamen, China, in 2025.
