After the first ten minutes, my hopes for magic in the pairing of director Michel Gondry with actor/writer Seth Rogen were dashed by the crushing tedium of this patchy mishmash. It’s the dumbest superhero film since Catwoman. Or even Daredevil. Fanboys will not be pleased with this desecration of the TV series that introduced Bruce Lee to the world. When Britt Reid and Kato are not out engaging in slapstick violence with high body counts, they’re bickering about who’s the superhero and who’s the sidekick. It’s all just… silly. No sting to it. The cars are cool, though. In useless 3D.
